The brushes have some sort of oily, highly chemical, very sticky lacquer on the brush handles, which wasn't dry when I received the brushes and still didn't dry after a month. The chemicals in the lacquer are honestly headache-inducing and very smelly, so the brushes are completely unusable. Would not buy again or recommend the brushes, but the case the brushes came in is nice enough.

Excellent starter set, case is good but the large flat brushes do not fit as handles are too wide. The brushes are great, hold just enough water and keep their shape well. This is the second set I own
