I was looking for a good synthetic alternative for my sable brushes and finally I've found it. Escoda Versatil brushes (I use series 1540) are excellent. They hold much more water than other synthetic brushes I have tried and they have a really fine point. I am really surprised how good these brushes are. I've bought all even numbers from #0 to #16. A very good alternative to natural hair and much cheaper. Highly recommended.

Jackson`s Procryl brush excellent for oil paint.

Lovely brush, not sure I would pay £6.40 for it though (I got it in a offer when checking out for under £3.5)

I'm an acrylics painter and I used that brush for the first time last week and all week long... I loved that brush (#6) and I'll buy some more soon. The bristles are springy but just the way I need them not to much and it does not absorb too much water for acrylics it's perfect.

A good quality brush that gives a good range of options when painting in both oils and acrylics. One of my favourites.

These procryl brushes is my number one favourite for oil painting :) I was searching for so long & I'm finally found them! They are soft but firm and I just love to work with them! I have them in bright, long flat & filbert. Soon I will order some round too.

Jackson's brushes are superb and very good value. They retain shape far longer than some more expensive 'label' brushes

I like these as they are softer than hogs for oils, but give good texture as well as smooth finishes.

I have found this brush has great capacity for holding paint and has quickly become my favourite brush for acrylics. I like to paint at a fairly large scale . I am quite new to serious painting and this was the first 'quality' brush I have bought and it is so much better than cheaper sorts.

These brushes hold there shape very well and you can tell they are well made

Superb! I use these for smooth flat oil colour applications where i don't want brush marks. They're not stiff enough to push around thick paint, but for soft paint and washes they are unmatched by any brush I've tried so far. They are truly beautiful brushes.

Fantastic looking/great quality brushes... haven't used them yet, as waiting for a house move and don't have the space for any 'proper painting', however, can't wait to get cracking with them. I ordered sizes 1,2,4,6,8,10 and 12 -all arrived in perfect condition, very well protected by plenty of packaging, and very quick delivery. These came in the 1st delivery of 2 i have so far made, and i shall be ordering again soon.

I'm an oil painter, and I used a Jackson's Procryl brush today for the first time. I use sfumato technique a lot in my work, and I found this brush very responsive and capable of blending to a very high standard, easily. The bristles are soft, springy. The edge holds it's tight shape while loaded with paint, producing a clean, chiseled edge where necessary. The attractive matt handle felt great in my hand. I have been converted to the Procryl range, they are such a joy to use. Thank you Jacksons!

All of Jackson's own brand brushes are amongst the best you can buy, the procryl brushes handle glazing through to quite heavy paint and for my uses are superior to any sable
