Super Aquarellpinsel zum kleinen Preis. Er hält viel Wasser, hat eine feine Spitze, springt in seine Form zurück und verliert keine Haare. Ideale Größe zum kolorieren von Skizzenbüchern. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist sein geringes Gewicht und der dünne Stiel. Trotzdem hervorragende Qualität zum kleinen Preis. Dieser Pinsel wird wohl mein ständiger Begleiter werden. Ich werde ihn wieder kaufen!

Ein sehr guter Aquarellpinsel. Er hält viel Wasser, hat eine feine Spitze und springt mühelos in seine Form zurück. Er verliert keine Haare. Ich war sehr überrascht über die hervorragende Qualität der Jacksons Eigenmarke. Habe auch französische Aquarellpinsel der Eigenmarken deutscher Unternehmen, die können da nicht mithalten. Preis/Leistung sind TOP! Diese Pinsel werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

I was looking for a brush that would have a great color capacity and also would let me do fine detail, this brush does that; I thought I would need a needle kind of brush but this one is just perfect. Though you need some skill to not mess up.

I am learning to paint with watercolours at the age of 80 so do not feel qualified to give an educated opinion

The Icon series has quickly become my favourite brushes - not too stiff and not too soft, capable to hold a good amount of water. Just perfect for my needs, I love them. I just wish the glue used for the labels wouldn't be such a pain to get rid of:P

Lovely brushes when new. I use them for intricate work with oils, so with me they have a limited life, therefore price is important. As good as I've found at this price!

Good substitute for 100% sable. Good precise brush for small scale work. Holds its point well.

The Quill Watercolour Brush is a big brush but surprisingly light, well made and lovely to use! Thank you, I shall certainly buy from Jackson's again and recommend them to friends.

This is a beautiful brush. It hold lots of pigment and water and maintains it's shape and lovely fine point. It is superb value for money and I will definitely buy more Jackson's sable & synthetic quill brushes

Mixed about this. I like the size and water capacity but shape is a bit off. Doesn't look cut to an even point.

A wonderful brush. The bristles have a nice point when wet and snaps back to a point. The wood handle feels light and cheap, so be careful with it.

A very good brush, worth more than its price. Holds a great deal of water and comes to a fairly thin point. What really made it for me was the light weight of the brush and the texture of the handle, a joy to use.

These mix brushes are wonderful. They have a slight spring but still hold a lot of water or paint. The quality is excellent, especially if you look at the price. Well worth it.

Great brush just what I needed and good price

Great brush! Much better than my previous mop ( different brand)which constantly lost hairs every time I used it. Has a nice quality feel to and a great point. Would highly recommend!

I needed a big sable but couldn't justify the price. This brush fulfills my need, it's obviously not pure sable but is great to paint with. I have a couple of the large 777's as well and they are just as nice to use. A great bang for your buck!

The Jacksons Icon Sable Synthetic brush I bought has been exceptionally nice to use, I've always used Sable brushes, but having moved onto body colour for a brief spell, I was reluctant to use my Sable brushes and found the Icon brush really good. I intend buying more very shortly.

More springy than a pure squirrel quill, more floppy than a sable. Definitely an interesting brush with a needle point tip and a nice handle.

These are really nice brushes, just the thing for watercolour painting.

I am a sable brush man myself. I have a nos.14 Diana Kolinsky sable etc. and a W&N nos.12 series 7 plus many more beside. However, I was completely surprised to find this brush worked well and carried colour well with a good point and could be described as the old artists used to call their brushes a "sable pencil". The brush handle is comfortable in the handle and is well balance which is an important point.

I ordered this brush to make up my own order. However, I have this brush and love it. It feels comfortable in the hand and handles well with watercolour. Jackson's Icon brushes are superb brushes and well worth having around when working. I use Jackson's brushes. They are excellent value and a credit to the company.

I first tried one belonging to my art tutor, after he had recommended them to me. I was so impressed that I bought a set of round brushes, 2,4 6,8,10, and 12, and have never looked back. They hold a generous amount of paint, are a pleasure to hold, and the bristles retain their shape, after cleaning. Because of the fine points on the brushes, painting intricate shapes is made easier. I have no hesitation in recommending these brushes to colleagues in my painting groups, and I know some of them have purchased a number of brushes. Real value for money.

It's ok but a lot firmer than I expected. Not as intuitive as expected.

It's a great brush! It is no different from the brush of sable - the same soft, perfectly holds water and paint, multifunctional and incredibly easy to use!

These have to be the bargain of the year. Great brush, slightly stiffer than pure sable, holds loads of paint and a nice gradual release. Have 4, 6 & 12 plus 2 quills 4 & 10/0. Really very nice to use and a steal at this price.

Fantastically precise point, well balanced handle and an absolute treat to use. I have two of these Jacksons synthetic quills and will buy a couple more. I use them more than I use my sables.

I just tried this out because I had this on last minute deal. It looks super hard when dry but is soft when wet. Retains its shape so you're able to make detailed strokes and spread the colors evenly. When loaded with large amount of water each strokes will have the wet in wet look - and I really love this effect! Great for loose techniques and also gives you more control when painting in wet-in-wet!
