Monet Pro™ is the new standard in pre-stretched canvases. The Monet Pro bar creates a 1.5" deep profile and a ½" reveal between bar face and canvas back. Always milled from durable lumber, the bars are never finger jointed, as solid wood is more environmentally stable. The bracing system not only allows the user to key out the corners, but braces can also be keyed. No staples, glue or plastic components restrict the user from fully expanding the frame. Also, the frame is braced at 20" and up, creating even more tension in the canvas.
Muir- Belgian Linen - Acrylic Primed is a perfect surface with which to paint your valuable art. Sized twice with PVA which helps to support and seal the canvas surface, it is then primed twice with our acrylic primer to make the surface impervious to leaching, but also provides an optimal ground for almost all types of artists' colors. Linen is the world's strongest natural fiber and uniquely able to resist cracking and disintegration.
Malilbu - Belgian Linen - Oil (Alkyd) Primed offers an extraordinary surface for oil, alkyd, and water based oil paints. The three coats of sizing prepare the Belgian Linen and provide incredible stability. The single coat of alkyd primer offers an optimal surface to accept your paint, and tends to absorb the paint, thereby creating depth and dimensionality to your art. Linen is uniquely able to resist cracking and disintegratio. It retains its own natural oils and remains flexible over time.
