Resembling the characteristics of lead-based grounds, the oil primer tends to allow the pigment to sink into the surface of the canvas, thereby increasing the depth and dimension of the painting. Mounted on keyed heavy duty stretchers. The corners are hand-fitted to the frame and the edges are staple-free. The canvas selvage is left on the back for easy restretching. Perfect for frameless display. 1 1/4" deep. Oil Primed. Sold in lots of 6.
